Salon Welcome Letter Example

KREATOR Vocalist greets his fans from the website of the band Carcass Possible meeting

guitarist, vocalist and founding member of Kreator Mille Petrozza recently published the following message on the official site band:

"Hello, boys and girls, I'm sitting in a hotel room in Guadalajara, Mexico, and I still feel overwhelmed by the great response to our dates in Mexico: the shows were fantastic, great organization, local staff were very nice and of course, an incredible public in the three concerts! Greetings to Mexican Kreatorheads ! are kickass !

is also cool to see HAMMERFALL playing a large repertoire of true metal every night, with KOTIPELTO opening each night with his high-class heavy rock, and see that, although the styles could not be more different, the fans are open minded and are good vibes with all three bands. This is what music should be! Unity among fans of metal!

I'm preparing to go to the airport and fly to Santiago de Chile. I can not wait to play the show tomorrow! KREATOR has had a special connection with the Chilean metalheads from day one! We expect more than 4000 fans, so I get ready for a night of terror !!!!!!

One more thing: for all the fans who expressed their disappointment at the fact that we will not Brazil this time. This time not worked due to logistic reasons beyond our control! We will definitely do a great tour of Brazil after the new album, I promise! Until then, keep the spirit alive! "
KREATOR be presented tomorrow in Concepcion. (Chile)

Former CARCASS guitarist , Mike Amott (currently in ARCH ENEMY) has revealed that band would reunite for a tour.

In an interview with Swedish magazine Close-Up , Amott said that he and the band's guitarist, Bill Steer met secretly in Halmstad, Sweden, during the last year to test CARCASS material. A few months later, he joined the practice bassist / vocalist Jeff Walker . During the tests, the drummer's seat was occupied by ARCH ENEMY drummer , Daniel Erlandsson.

"sounded really good, and it was fun," said Amott . "We rehearsed almost entire
album 'Heartwork' ."

The original plan was for CARCASS play in several European festival circuit this year, which was not carried out.

"I hope we can do some reunion shows later, "Amott expić." It would be fun and I love to play these songs live again. Unfortunately, it is not possible in the next 18 months at least, because ARCH ENEMY has a totally full schedule. It is different to the others in the band, who are not actively working on their music careers. "

Asked if compose new songs, Amott believes that" write something new seems unnecessary. People just want to hear the new material. "

After the tour " Heartwork ", Mike Amott left CARCASS . The band released a farewell album in 1996 entitled "Swansong" , of \u200b\u200bwhich Amott not have the best view: "It was not a fan of that album. But now we rehearsed a couple of songs and they sounded pretty good. I that album was ruined by production. sounded loose and basically all the extreme that characterized CARCASS was gone. I was bored. "

on the opinion of his former teammates have on his current band Arch Enemy :

"Jeff has been clear in saying they suck. For his part, Bill not get into this kind of music. I The boys moved away from metal world since the mid-90's, and have not returned since. Apparently they think it's a little strange that I'm still completely stuck in the metal. "

original drummer CARCASS Ken Owen suffered a brain haemorrhage in 1999, and was hospitalized for 10 months, slowly emerging coma.

"Ken okay today, but he is not a metalhead and drummer," Amott explained . "He is not able to play an entire concert in an extreme band like CARCASS . Yet I hope that if we do a tour, the trip with us and play a few songs each night. "

Earache Records plans to relaunch the catalog CARCASS with extra material.

" Jeff has negotiated with Earache and has made the label a lot of money to pay us royalties old. Of course, money is something, but it would be great to go out and play these songs that are really classic in this genre . Never played material like this before, I say, are songs that somehow have become the soundtrack for the lives of some people. It would be fun to dig up this old corpse again. "
