Blowing Brock Preview

Dan Nelson is the new vocalist of ANTHRAX

After the controversial departure of singer John Bush of ANTHRAX, to mark the return of former lead singer Joey Belladonna for a "momentary" meeting, the band was a limbo throughout 2007. Belladonna's return was commercially successful during the tour, but the singer was again transformed into a burden for the band trying to enter the study. The same friction that made Anthrax dispatched to the singer in 1993 reappeared. The solution: call back John Bush, of course. Except this time, Bush not heeded the call, which is understandable if one takes into account the conditions under which he left the band. Output also seriously affected the credibility of the band.

apparently waiting over for the band led by Ian Scott and Charlie Benante . During a chat session with members of the band's fan club, the pair announced yesterday that already have new vocalist. His name is Dan Nelson , who has put his voice on the bands and DEVILSIZE ME, MY ENEMY . Here is a translation of the chat with the band: Charlie

: John Bush not return. He wants nothing to do with it. Scott

: Not just ANTHRAX, but with the music.

Charlie: We love John , but he does not want to be the singer.

Charlie : things went really crazy in recent years, meeting, etc..

Scott: We tried for a year that things work with Joey Belladonna .

Charlie: The relationship with Joey is really good, but not recorded with him. No bad blood among us, anything can happen in the future, but for now go forward with another person. Charlie

: Rob Caggiano spoke of this kind. His name is Dan Nelson and may be crap singing. Scott

: His voice is sick. It's like Bush steroids.

Scott : Caggiano worked with him on a demo and then called Charlie for revision. Charlie

: We believe at some point put a new name for this training, then think "why?"

Some fans in the chat asked what the style these new songs:

Scott: We have a new cancon called "Fight 'Em' Till You Can not" 1988 is simply passed through the filter 2007. Another call "Revolution Screams" which is thrash 2008. There are plenty of new material that is coming to life with the voice of Dan . We will meet after the holidays this year to continue composing.

Charlie: It's hard for us these days to relive 1986. We were different then. We can look within ourselves something of the Old School and make that music, but we do not. theme "Fight 'Em' Till You Can not" is completely organic, not forced, but left as a matter of old school thrash. Charlie

: Dan is one of those singers who can change his style and sound. It gives new life to the songs. When he arrived and began to sing "Room for One More" and "What Does not Die" was exciting. Gives me the willies just thinking about it.
