Announces New South American tour in March

DREAM THEATER confirmed today at his official website his next visit to South America. The band is promoting his latest album "Systematic Chaos" and hopes to repeat the success of his first visit to South America in late 2006, where he even got the biggest audience of his career serving as the main show when they showed up at the Athletic Track in Santiago, Chile, to around 20,000 people.

dates announced today are:

Saturday March 1 - Tennis Athletic National Stadium, Santiago - Chile
Monday March 3 - Luna Park, Buenos Aires - Argentina
Tuesday 4 March - Luna Park, Buenos Aires - Argentina
Friday, March 7 - Credicard Hall Sao Paulo - Brazil
Saturday March 8 - Citibank Hall, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
Sunday, March 9 - Chevrolet Hall, Belo Horizonte - Brazil
Wednesday March 12 - The Colosseum, Bogota - Colombia
Friday March 14 - Local unconfirmed, Caracas - Venezuela

Entries should be on sale from next week and has not yet announced if there will be bands or if type shows "An Evening with Dream Theater" as was the previous South American tour and the band performed without the support slot on a show more than two and a half hours with an intermission. joins the avalanche of rock that has brought in 2008, with bands of height DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE , and expected KORN IRON MAIDEN .
