The permanent residence permit allows you to live and work indefinitely in Spain under the same conditions as English.

7. If you have contributed to the economic progress of Spain or in scientific or cultural matters.

To apply for permanent residence permit have to go to the Foreign Office where you intend to set up your home.

"I can renew permanent residence?

Yes, is renewed every five years and must be requested one month before the due date. Also be accepted for renewal applications submitted within three months after the expiration date, with appropriate sanctions.

IMPORTANT: After 3 months of maturity may not be granted renewal of a permit under any circumstances. Nor if the person has resided outside Spain for six months interrupted.
